.32 Cal match pistol
All match pistols for ISSF Centre Fire are magazine forward pistols like the Walther GSP series, the Pardinis and Matchguns. Is there a classic mag in butt/grip pistol in .32 S&W cal still around? I know Benelli had some pistols in .32 wadcutter as did Hammerli with their SIG 240 but these are all gone.
Is there anyway to convert a 1911 kind of pistol to shoot .32 wadcutters? How about trying this out with a CZ as a conversion to .32?? Actually just daydreaming

Or, if you are a real expert on discovering "hens teeth", find a Britarms 32SWL.
Only four ever made, I think (but ready to stand corrected on that point).

I met Alan Westlake several times and while the pistols were first class, lack of spares made me decide against buying one, in .22 lr thoughRoyDean wrote:Or, if you are a real expert on discovering "hens teeth", find a Britarms 32SWL.

Always have revolvers... Few 240's are still around but demand crazy prices...

Re: .32 Cal match pistol
depends on what you want to spend.
the sig will cost you $3,000.00
https://edelweissarms.com/sig-hammerli-p240-bullseye-pistol-p206xxx/
an ERMA ESP will cost you $900.00
the Erma is the way to go.
and if you want to add a RED DOT id rather drill and tap a 900 pistol
I'm not being partial to the answer at all. lol

From time to time Ruger mark pistols that have been converted to 32 show up. Conversions are possible, just are time consuming to make. Commercially I don’t think someone making 1911 32 conversion is viable, especially if demanding bullseye performance.hammerli wrote:Is there anyway to convert a 1911 kind of pistol to shoot .32 wadcutters? When Dennis Rosen still owned Marvel Precision, I asked him about building a conversion for .32. He sort of laughed because he had been asked about it before and had decided it wasn't going to be practical. I'm sure with enough time and money one could be made that would be accurate enough for our purposes but the economics of such a conversion do not make sense.

Pretty much what the Nelsons told me when I talked to them about it. Yes it (32 ACP) can be done, no it can't be done economically for the number of units they could possibly sell. I believe that they had prototypes but they were making an enormous number of changes.John Dervis wrote:When Dennis Rosen still owned Marvel Precision, I asked him about building a conversion for .32.
