Hammerli 215 and internationals on gunbroker
Lots of Hammerli pistols just hit gunbroker from the same seller in florida.Looks like about 15 pistols with only 1 mag.Are these a better deal than a New Walther x-esse?Would parts availability be a issue on the older guns? They are all priced around 1 K.

In general both the 208/215 and the x-esse are good options. 208/215 mags are more expensive. In both cases you may need to adjust/purchase new grips so the gun fits your hand.

Personally, I think the best feature of my Hammerli 208s, besides the outstanding accuracy and reliability is the two-stage trigger. Some 215's have a two-stage trigger and some do not. I may be wrong, but I think most, if not all, 208's (not 208S) don't have the two-stage trigger. Obtaining parts for out-of-production firearms is always a challenge.

Thanks for the responses!I have a gunclub member that has a hammerli he will let me shoot.I dont know which modell but it did come from Larrys in Gray. There are a few Pardinis locally for sale i owned one back in the 90s and want to try the hammerli style out.Would the new walther have a 2 stage trigger?Could it be installed with parts?
