Taurus TX22 Competition
Has anyone tried a Taurus TX22 Competition? I looked at one this weekend, looks like a nice bit of kit. Curious about how accurate the design is.

No but the gun shop I worked at had the regular TX-22. It was great. Never had a misfire. Was accurate enough for what we were doing - training folks. I felt they were a better gun than the Glock in 22 caliber.

No, but I have a Sig P322. It is a very good pistol for what it is intended for. I like it much better than the S&W M&P .22 compact that I used to have. Having said that, it ain't no Hammerli 208S or Marvel .22 conversion!

I purchased a standard TX22 version and added the Competition Kit, and the combination is very reliable, stable, and accurate.

What kind of accuracy tests have you done?DrewBone wrote:I purchased a standard TX22 version and added the Competition Kit, and the combination is very reliable, stable, and accurate.

I got one for Fun Steel and ended up using it for my first couple Precision Pistol leagues.
Once I added the Tandemkross Victory Trigger, my scores jumped significantly.
I'm running a Vortex Venom 3 MOA and a Tandemkross Game Changer comp on it and have zero complaints.
