Hammeri 208 front sight

So I need a taller front sight for my 208. 

How do you remove it?

How do you measure the sight?

Where do I Buy 1? Redfeather?

Red Feather has them, call and talk with them. 
The front sight drifts forward to remove. Use a small piece of wood (hammer handle) low on the back of the sight. Be careful to not lose the spring loaded bearing under the sight. 
The sight is labeled in metric measurement. The standard height is 8 cm. A 9 cm will move point of impact down around 4 inches.

8cm is over 3 inches. 9cm is over 3.5 inches.

I believe that my front sight is marked 3.2.

You are right, I am off by a factor of 10. The measurements are mm instead of cm.  3.2 is the standard sight width in mm, which corresponds to 0.125 in. 8 and 9 mm is 0.31 in and 0.35 in. You can also get wider front sights and rear sight notices. I think they are 3.2, 3.4, 3.6. 

I recently purchased a 9 mm front sight from Red Feather. Changing isn’t difficult but was concerned about losing the bearing under the sight since I didn’t have a replacement.
