LPA Sight cut

Does anyone know if all adjustable LPA sights use the same dovetail cut?  Dovetails and rear sights are the one thing I have never messed with.  I have always shot the sighs that came on my pistols.  Want to add an Optics plate to my Rock Island 1911.  Any info would be helpful.

It is my understanding that LPA is one of the "standard" dovetail cuts, so one LPA sight should fit any of the LPA cuts. I think it is a 60 degree cut with a 3/8" width, a bit wider than the Bomar cut.

You may want to do some research. IIRC the RI adjustable sights have a proprietary angle that's just a bit different from standard Novak.

Even though the sight says LPA on it.

Why not just send them an inquiry as to the dovetail they sent to Rock Island?
