Seeking reputable gunsmith to replace front sight
Hello,
I have a S&W Model 29 that was worked on by our local legendary gunsmith F. Bob Chow years ago. It is in pristine condition. Unfortunately, it has the dreaded red ramp front sight.
I'm searching for a reputable gunsmith that can remove the front red ramp and install a nice clean patridge front. Of course, the front sight is not pinned. (That would have been too easy )
I am on the list with Randall Fung for a set of his wonderful grips. They are on all of my other bullseye guns.
Thank you ahead of time for what direction you can offer!

I'd go on the Smith and Wesson sight and look for an armorer close by to you. Go to find a dealer and look for a certified armorer. Yiogo

Joe leininger milled a slot on my 6" mod 66 and installed a pinned partrige sight. Very nice job. S&W should have made it this way!
