Will there be another Atterbury?

Until an official announcement one way or the other is made, probably not worth the spending the time speculating.

This option didn't come up in the pistol competitors' meeting, but if it did, I think the response would be same... overwhelming support to reconcile with the CMP and return to Perry. I would miss the Atterbury range, but not much else. Maybe shooting below my average and still being able to tell my family and colleagues that I was in the top 20 overall at the National Championships 

So, the NRA have now publicly confirmed that Pistol Nationals will not be at Atterbury. No formal announcement about Cardinal, yet! C U all at Cardinal in early July

Maybe the NRA should just get out of national competition and let the CMP handle it. It would save money for the NRA and allow the national matches to be held at Camp Perry, where the shooters want them. Frankly, it looks to me that highpower and precision pistol are slowly dying anyway. I don't like it, but we have to face reality. The NRA could then devote more effort and money towards 2A matters, firearms safety and junior programs.
