Re: 208S spares wanted
Don Plante used to carry Hammerli parts.
I believe he still does.
Not sure if contact info is up to date:

Re: 208S spares wanted
The Don Plante contact info provided by Bill is still valid. AFAIK. I do not know whether he still has Hammerli parts in hand, but bound to still have something.

Re: 208S spares wanted
Thanks for the suggestions. I will reach out to Don today.
Too bad Jim left Red Feather. Wish it was still LGI.
I purchased TX recoil springs via Red Feather. The OD is too small; upon compression they'll squirt out of the channel and then wedge between the frame and barrel. By the time you extract them, they will stretch and distort. I destroyed two such springs by manually cycling the slide.
Fyi, the 208 needs an 0.200" OD recoil spring. Sean Wolff fixed me up with a cross-reference that required trimming, but it worked! The OD was spot-on, except for the ends which I trimmed off. (The end windings grew to about 0.205".)
