Re: red dots whats do you think?
If you are going to shoot indoors, I strongly recommend having manual control of the brightness. My wife an I both shoot in a bullseye league at various ranges around Boston. We have used various reflex sights at 50 feet for about 20 years. We started with Docter sights, then switched to Burris Fast Fire III's, and are now using Vortex Venoms, all 3 MOA. The Vortex can be switched to a manual brightness mode, and has 10 levels that start lower than most. I use the lowest setting in most of the indoor ranges.
The downside on the Venom is that the manual brightness mode doesn't have an auto off. You HAVE to remember to turn it off at the end of each session.

Its a good thought question: further would be if they do can the brightness just be cranked and bloom it to 2-3?Wobbley wrote:I think a 1 MOA dot might get lost in a bright day.
