Looks like the Kart rifling. Wasn't it Marlin Micro-groove?

What you have looks like a Kart. The one piece slide stop is what they came with. The two piece is like a Nelson slide stop.
If it has no markings could it be an early version or prototype? Or maybe a previous owner polished the markings off and refinished.
The original markings were not very deep.
It also looks like someone changed the rib for scope rings or removed the sights to install rings.

Is the rib integral to the top shroud? Not screwed on, but actually machined as one piece? Then you have a Dworak conversion, because (in my knowledge) that's exactly how his conversion differed from Kart.

The rib looks like an older Weaver aluminum rib fastened to the top of the slide with three fasteners.Tripscape wrote:Is the rib integral to the top shroud? It's a Kart. The Dworak conversion shroud had a pic rail built into it.

So, I did some more disassembly. The rail is integral to the slide, the fasteners hold the barrel in position, the other parts are shown. There is a .22LR marking and a number 2727 marking.

Re: I need some help identifying this piece.
I'd say its a Kart with a Dworack aluminum shroud. Looks just like mine. A lot of us replaced the Kart steel slide with the aluminum shroud to get rid of some weight back in the day. By the way, it is not a one piece slide stop pin as someone mentioned. A little screw attaches the lever portion to the pin part. If you look closely at the picture, you can see the little screw.
