Good session with the 22/45, not so good with the 9mm today
Got out today and shot 100 rounds through the 22 and 100 through the 9mm CZ P-09. Had a great set of targets with the 22 using the crease trigger finger placement, but have some work to do on the 9mm. All these were at 25 yards, BE stance, timed fire pace, 10 rounds at a time on B-8C targets. Here is the video...
My trigger control with the 9mm just wasn't there compared to the 22. I've been working on another pistol and I think that may have something to do with it. It may take another 100 rounds or so to get back to mid 90's with the 9mm. Maybe on Sunday. Crease instead of finger tip placement works great on both, I just haven't retrained myself yet.

Much better today. And less wind. Averaged 95.4-3x for 10 targets. Here are two targets. Slow fire.
I'm getting more comfortable with the crease finger placement, but still rush the trigger occasionally.

Several weeks later, good improvement with the 9mm...
A month more practice and a red dot, much better in this video. Averaging 93 now for practice targets with the 9mm. Not quite as good as with the 22/45 Ruger, but getting there. Let me know if you see anything I should be doing differently. This was the first target of the day with this pistol, but lots of 10 ring hits.

Good stuff. My advice is to just keep expecting them to go into the ten ring. Don't forget your slow fire training.

BE Mike, thanks. Yep, I need to practice slow fire and rapid fire with both guns. I shot 5 rim fire and 5 centerfire targets today when the wind wasn't so bad. Averaged 97.6-3.8x for the 22 and 94.0-2x for the 9mm. Here is the best of the 9mm targets...
I'm still getting used to the crease trigger finger placement and still have a tendency to force the shots with the 9mm. But this was the best day yet, average-wise, for both guns.
