115 gr SWCBB 9mm
I am continually looking for the perfect bullet for my 952-2 and I ran across these 115gr SWC from Penn. Has anyone tried these bullets? I am thinking about giving them a try. They will swag them whatever you want.I was thinking .356.Any suggestion? Thanks

Slug your barrel first. Many 9mm are. 357". Fit is king.

Thanks.Good idea.I was assuming that it would be tighter since it is a match barrel but not a good idea to assume anything.

It is .356.I know that the 952 can be a bugger to get back together .So I put 100 rds of 124gr L-RN thru it today that was loaded with Bullseye. That gave me a good reason to clean it.And I plugged it at the same time.

I tried some a while ago in a 1911 with a Kart barrel and did not have any luck with them. I did much better with a plain RNL.

I found that the Penn 115gn L-SWC was quite good. Any load from 4.0-6.0gn of Unique worked very well.
5.3-5.4gn Herco, 5.8-6.4gn Power Pistol, and 5.1gn Silhouette were very good.

Thanks for the replys. And for the loads. I am not having much luck with the LRN so I guess I will give a small batch a try. As long as they go thru one of my 9s I can still get in some trigger time. Thanks again.

They go through my pre-WWII P-08s and WWII P-38s, my BHP, my CZ-75s, my 1911, and my Tanfaglio just fine.

I have not fired my P-08 for 40 years but I get a lot of trigger time in with my Model 39 smith,Beretta 92A1 and the 952. I am sure I will find one that works. Thanks again
