Old Swaged Bullets
Run across a couple thousand .45 cal.Swaged 185 SWC's. These bullets were in card board boxes and were exposed to heat and moisture while sitting on a aluminum storage shed with a leak for at least 12 years. It is safe to assume these bullets will cause problems if I tried to shoot them. Any thoughts on "cleaning" bullets and relubing? Liquid Alox? The lube that's on the bullets seems similar to what Speer lead bullets have on them.

I'm guessing you could relube them and they would be fine. what type of lube ring do they have? Can you post a picture?

You can shot them as-is, as long as they just have white lead oxide on surface. You can re-lube with a LIGHT coat of LLA.

I would try a few and see if they lead the barrel before trying to relube
