Glasses fog
Hey all. I HATE THE HEAT! Do any of you have any tips on preventing your glasses from fogging up? I normally get two shots off and have to shoot the next three blind. Oddly enough I seem to do a little better blind lol.

My eye doc said the bottom of the fame must not be to close to my cheek. If frame & cheek make contact at anytime, the frame is to big. Seems to work for me.

243, I run pretty hot. I tried putting the glasses away from my face a bit, but it didn't help and it was fairly unsafe to a point.
David, have you used any that worked well?

Ops Drops by McNett. Comes in a bottle inside a microfiber pouch that doubles as a lens cleaning cloth. Small enough for the gunbox and works.

Old scuba divers used to rub bar soap on the inside of the mask and polish it with a clean soft cloth.

I use this all the time, just don't get carried away. An "X" with the bar of soap on the inside of the glasses is all you need then polish enough to clear it. Try it on your shower mirror. It works !

Re: Glasses fog
Thanks for the info! I always used the spit method in my scuba mask. But masks have glass lenses. My Oakley shooting glasses are poly-something or other. The spit didn't work on them. I'm gonna try the bar soap. Someone at my range also said baby shampoo. I may try that to. Hopefully one of the "free" methods works. Thanks again

Re: Glasses fog
It's the glycerin in the soap that keeps lenses fog free, so any soap product containing glycerin should work.
