Shooting glasses
Hey all, I'm looking for a pair of glasses with some different colored lenses. I'm currently using Oakley Ballistic m frames, I love them, but they do not offer the colors I'm looking for. I'm told there is a guy that sells very good shooting glasses at Camp Perry. I've been told about him, and read about him, but have know idea who "him" is. Anyone know what brand they are? Or the sellers name? Are they available online? Thank you.

Where are you located, do you require prescription lenses?

Re: Shooting glasses
I have purchased quite a few different colored lens from Clarence at Camp Perry, He usually is set-up next to the AMU trailer. If you want them changed he can remove most of the color then dye them something else. Unfortunately I have his card at my shop, I can get it tomorrow and post it here if you want.

Another option is the Rudy Project Shooters Kit. Shot-gunner friends turned me on to them, I really like them! I have a prescription which clips behind the colored lens, in fact I bought them through my optometrist and got a deal. He is an action pistol guy and uses them too. The kit comes with 5 colors and there are many more available.
It takes less than a minute to change the lenses for different lighting conditions.
I think Double Alpha might have best internet deal on them.

If Forgot to bring the card with me! However I think it's Custom Sports Ware & Optical in Baltimore, Ohio (800) 745-6066. Call is free so ask to speak to Clarence or if he set up at Camp Perry.
Checked the card, Yes the above information is correct for Clarence the guy selling shooting glasses set-up next to the AMU trailer. Can make them for those with prescription lens's.

I'm an optometrist, and these are what I use. You can get a prescription insert but they're better without it. I have sent these kits all over the US to shooters (although not a huge number) and everyone seems pleased. Easy as pie to change the lenses and a better warranty than Oakley last I checked. I've had mine 4 years now and if you keep them in the case and take care of them they'll last. Very light weight.
