s&W Model 41 Performance Center

I'm thinking about purchasing a S&W Model 41 Performance Center and would appreciate any comments or opinions about it.  Availability as I understand it is practically zero so a long wait is anticipated.

Why wait, here is a great 41, the early models were super accurate, in fact one like this was used by Herschel Anderson to set the Bullseye highest score set in 1974 that still stands today.

I just purchased another 41 that happened to show up at a local gun shop.  But I would still be interested in comments about the Performance Center.

I have a 41 performance center, matchdot 2, nill griffe anatomical.  I bought new and initially had some issues with alot of stovepipes and ended up sending it back to Smith for warranty work.  They ended up replacing the barrel, now it shoots like a dream, I only feed it CCI Standard Velocity and with that is very reliable and incredibly accurate!!  I would highly recommend.  Let me know if you have any specific questions and I would be happy to try to answer.
