Yes I screwed up and set a Dillon 550 calibre assembly on it's Dillon stand at the back of the shelf with the measure still half full of BE. I have 5 setups for different calibres. 45 wad, 45 HB, 38, 9mmHB, and misc. Plus a few heads set up for various single stage use. So why did I just get a LnL progressive AND a LnL single press? Probably same reason I got the SDB.
I guess I have to smell the BE and use it carefully or toss it.

I would carefully pack up your Dillon equipment and await my PM for mailing instructions!

I've been told by those with many many years of reloading experience that if powder isn't clumpy you can use it (I'd use it for practice).

I've loaded extremely old BE powder with no observable difference in recoil or performance on target.

What would you do if you had loaded it into cartridges two years ago and not had a chance to shoot them yet?Jack H wrote:

It's been in the measure with the lid off. I no doubt was gonna dump it back in the can but got off track somehow. I was finished loading at the time . I am not so dumb to not know what it is. I tape a label on the measure naming the powder and what grains the measure is set to.

I know of what you speak Jack. A few years back I loaded up a couple hundred 45's with 3.8 gr of H322 (you can watch the bullet fly to the target, by the way). Lesson learned! I now do the same with the label of powder and amount on the reservoir.
