Do you have backup guns?
Backup - Do you have one?
At some point in my earlier reading on this forum someone cautioned to always have a backup with your equipment. The comment didn't register with me at the time but now it does. How many of you have backup guns in case one malfunctions in competition or needs work done by a gunsmith?

Beeser,
I added a poll to your question. I thought it would be a better way to keep track.

Re: Backup - Do you have one?
I only shoot 22 rf due to financial reasons.
I wish I had a back up 22 but I do not.
While I do not have a back up, the equipment I have is top notch.

Cranky

I do not have any backup guns.
But the Clark .45 could be used as a backup to my M52-1 for centerfire.

Re: Backup - Do you have one?
No place to vote for more than one backup for each? Or backups for open sight and dots? or multiple ball guns? Probably need more options in the poll. However, you should not go overboard when acquiring guns; unless it was a really good deal, or you thought it might get you some more points, or it just looks really cool.......

I have back up guns. But with the exception of Perry they are home, warm in the safe.

Re: Backup - Do you have one?
I bring out the back up guns for State and Regional matches. Also in the winter league we often shoot 2 matches on the same day ( 22 only) and I like to shoot my backup the second match.
