Newbie question
Should I see the dot continuously from sight acquisition through recovery?

Re: Newbie question
That would be tough for the 45.
I keep my eyes focused on the target through recoil. The gun settles back into the aiming area and I pick up the dot but my focus remains on the target. I have the dot set to a low intensity and it is just a ghost on the target.
This method works for me but it is a little more difficult moving back to irons, where my focus moves to the front sight.
