Anyone using an FAS 602 for Bullseye?

I have a Domino 602 for standard pistol matches. I hope to use it for the 22 distinguished match. I think it's one of the most underrated pistols available. I have two actually and a 603.

The top loading design for the magazine does restrict the options for attaching a red dot. The Mini-style dots afford the best solution without compromising the balance and handling capabilities. The 1911-style grip angle shown in the attachment also makes for a more Bullseye ready set-up.

Nice looking 602! I shot one for three years. I got spare parts from Potters in Australia and later from Larry Carter.
I later bought a Benelli 90 and sold the Fas to a friend who couldn't live without it. I kind of miss it. It was great in sustained fire and a wonderful iron sight gun.

I have been extremely impressed with the trigger on this pistol. It shoots like 1/2" groups off a sandbag at 25 yards using SK ammo.

Close, but not quite close enough.
The IZH 35 has a centerline of the bore closer to the top of the hand than the FAS 602.
This makes for greatly reduced muzzle flip with each shot and easier to get back on target.

Two people on my club BE team shoot the FAS. They both really like them. I also noticed (as did an above commenter), that the top-loading mag design makes for limited options in mounting the red dot, but with a little creativity it works with the Ultradot's they've got mounted. I've not shot them personally, but have dry fired one of them and the trigger pull is pretty nice.

Here is the IZH-35M for comparison. The are actually quite a bit different.
