9mm Accuracy & Velocity

First topic message reminder :

Everything that I've read on this forum indicates that 9mm has to be pushed fast to be accurate.  Why is this when .45 ACP and .38 Special seem to perform fine at much lower velocities?    This doesn't make sense to me.

I don't believe I have even seen a SIG P210 group that good, and those are almost always 5 rounds at 25 meters...

It said, 1911 with kart 1/16 barrel but I believe it was a 38 super, not a 9mm

David Sams is probably the "King" of 9mm and has many such and better groups on his wall..

The reason I shot 25 rounds, is the 50 yard PPC stage is 24 shots.4 magazines of 6 rounds each..

HERE'S MY ROCK RIVER ARMS 6" PPC AUTO.LEFT HAND TARGET 10RDS, RIGHT HAND TARGET 24RDS. LIKE JERRY SAID "WE" PPC SHOOTERS SHOOT 24RDS AT 50YDS TWICE IN A 1500 SO IT'S IMPORTANT. HORNADY 115GR XTP.

 I CAN'T BLOW UP THE PIC ABOVE BUT THIS IS THE NATIONAL MATCH 60 RD PPC COURSE.
RIGHT HAND TARGET WAS A CLEAN 300 AT THE SHORT LINE.
LEFT HAND TARGET WAS A 298 OUT OF 300. 24 SHOTS AT 50 YDS IN 4 DIFFERENT POSITIONS IN 2MIN AND 45 SEC. & 6 RDS IN 12 SEC AT 25YDS FROM THE HOLSTERED POSITION
SCORE 598-36X
BY THE WAY IT WAS A 2 MAN TEAM MATCH THAT MY PARTNER AND I WON.
9MM WILL SHOOT.

It seems the 6" is the better shooting option? 1-32 twist?

ACTUALLY MY 5" 9MM PPC DISTINGUISHED AUTO IS TIGHTER AT 50YDS. BUT I SHOOT THE LONGER SIGHT GUN BETTER AT 50YDS.

BUT MY PPC SERVICE 9MM HAS A KART 9MM 1-16" TWIST BARREL AND SHOOTS THE SAME AT 50YDS. JUST HAVE TO USE THE 147GR BULLET WITH THAT TWIST . I'VE FOUND. JIMP
