Scoped and Rebarreled Empty Scoped and Rebarreled

Had KC put one of his Red Buff scope mounts on a Baer 45 I traded for last year.  This gun shot well but the barrel lugs were resting on the slide stop on just one side.  Decided that while the gun was in KC's shop I'd ask him to put a new barrel in it.  It is ready to come home..  I'll post pictures when arrives.   Might get KC to post some before it heads South. Very Happy

Not bad....  We'll wrap that "red dot" with some duct tape... Very Happy
FWIW "Close" is one of the reasons for this mount.  Close is better.   I've seen lots of brass scars on the bottom of the scopes mounted on my guns.  While the "duct tape" remark was intended tongue in cheek it may turn out to be the thing to do to protect the bottom of the scope.  We'll be shooting this thing soon!
