Hello,
I'm Pat McDonough up in Maine. Just got started shooting Bullseye pistol. 
Started out (and still am) shooting Highpower rifle maybe 12-15 years ago. Went Distinguished and made P100 a few years back.
I'm happy to see a thriving pistol program up here at Scarborough! About half of the participants at the Thursday night league match are women which is good to see. We have none shooting rifle up here.
Currently using an old S&W 41 with an ultra dot. I found a reworked Norinco 1911 that I will eventually use for EIC.

I struggled a bit when first starting out, shooting 760-800 in our weekly 900, but think maybe a light switched on last night. 834-20x. I was happy. Can't wait for our next match!


P.S. I don't know how my username got to be T4kxo. I thought I had registered under Patrick McDonough, but I must have clicked in wrong somewhere. If I could switch that, I certainly would.

Hello again!  Bruce em  (go by the sound not spelling) re-registering with new user name. I have been on the Lava Net BE List since about 1998 and on the email list since then. Needed to watch this list some more as the email seems to be fading.

I am in Upstate NY and love the sport for the cameraderie and friends I have, and haven't met.

Many know me as the guy with from "the nut" or the "________ gauge". Kept a lot of folks out of jams (and misfeeds)

I shot International for quite a while as well as BE. Made Master (and slowed down) , P100, Distinguished Service Pistol and Revolver. Set some USAS S1 National records before Mr. Z came of age.

Had some super 22 scores in Master class at Perry in the last few years. I think I am back on track for some good scores and if I can help you, I will because thats the way this group is!

Back into playing guitar after a 30 year hiatus. You think guns are expensive?????

hello,  im a new pistol shooter and joined the forum so i can become a sponge and learn all i can.  when i say new i mean i am interested in giving this a try but have yet to pull a trigger in a match.  my shooting experience is all from the rifle side of the house but was talked into giving it a try from some fellow HP rifle shooters. 
my first match will be coming up soon in Austin Texas and im looking forward to giving it a try.  Thanks

salutes for all,my name is Christian,from Ponce,Puerto Rico. i like to practice shooting on Ponce Expert shooting corp,the most old shooting club of Puerto Rico(1930's). my favorite gun is smith and wesson model 52-2. i have high standard supermatic trophy military,smith wesson 14-4 and custom smith wesson 15 PPC. i'm superfan of .38 wadcutters. I am looking for an adapter for the eye end to put a hood on. 
Someone at my club said they are available here. 
Does anyone know who sells them??
