First topic message reminder :

Has anyone tried one of these flip-up blinders?

They come in black and white.  Any advantage in using the translucent white?

I tried this with the magnet/card stuck to the end of the barrel.  Worked fine except it would fall off sometimes.  Maybe a stronger magnet would work better.  I also tried gluing a 3x5 card to one end of a foam earplug and stuck the other end into the barrel.  That worked fine.  Good idea Scott.

One of the reasons I love shooting at Canton and Camp Perry: you can't get better lighting conditions for open sights than standing out in the middle of a field in the sunshine.

I used one for a few years, now I use Scotch tape placed in the right spot.
