GECO 22lr Ammuntion

Does anyone know anything about GECO ammo? I found this on-line site that has a bunch of this stuff. I do not know if this is a good price or a bad price???

Geco is a Swiss company that makes lots of military stuff. RWS makes the 22 ammo it shoots better than CCI SV but not as good as Eley red box.

I know a guy who REALLY likes the GECO stuff.  It seems like premium quality to me.

if it shoots good and costs less than 10 bucks better buy it

owned by RUAG Ammotec who also owns RWS.  I have both the new Norma TAC and some of the Geco stuff... they appear to be the same..

both have the RWS stamp on the case and the same oily feel to them

I tested Geco "RIFLE" and found its average velocity (pistol) to be the same as some older Eley Standard Pistol.  Managed to buy some and my wife and I are using for practice.  Had one FTF, but primer-gaps occur with the best ammo.  The question we all have is:  where has all of the under $400/case CCI SV ammo gone?  Apparently, none at Camp Perry either.  Local store, from time to time, will sell a few boxes early Sat. morning.   Mac2

I believe that it sold out fairly quickly on Sunday the 5th

well, I found some of this for $3.88+shipping.

Just an FYI. The outfit in Seattle that had the (cheap) GECO ammo is not listing it anymore but this place seems to be the next best choice. You can buy 2000 rds for 214.00 shipped. That works out to 5.35 a box (50). NFI.

you can get Geco Rifle for under $5 a box at times.. Sportsmansguide has it for 4.74 a box (member price) 4.99 non member and free shipping (SH1332 code)

it's great practice ammo and on occasion a pistol will really like it.. it has been 100 % in all my pistols(nelson and smith 41)

I tried the Geco and it did seem to group tighter than CCI. But I have a lot of CCI.......

Great day for a trapshoot! so, while waiting, I decided to sandbag my AA w/ultradot at 50 yds to see what the Geco would do....
