E-target questions
For those that have shot on the E-targets for bullseye and or high power rifle.
Are you just shooting into a black hole ?
Is the black the same size as the paper target black per distance ?
How was shooting irons ?
How was shooting a dot ?
I will probably never shoot on one and just wondering.

Re: E-target questions
The black is all black. No lines, no X. The white on the target I was shooting on had lines.
Shooting irons, I didn't notice. ..shooting dot, you can notice but it doesn't matter.
Biggest problem: they don't turn.

Re: E-target questions
If you have a red dot can you still see the light come on? Or do you start/stop timed and rapid on a whistle?

How large is the full opening of the scoring space?
Do they have different inserts for 25 yd targets vs 50 yd targets being the difference in black sizes.?

Re: E-target questions
Sorry, Chip. I don't remember if I was looking at the light through my red dot tube or not.
Jack H,
They do have different inserts for the white part of the target to reveal the larger black for the 50yd targets and a smaller black for the 25 yard targets.

Re: E-target questions
Hopefully it is just a light coming on. If it switches from red to green I cannot see that. I know from watching YouTube videos from rapid pistol. Maybe if the "shoot" light is always on the bottom-right (as an example) that would be good enough. Most common form of color blindness in men is red-green. That is why stop lights always have red at the top.

Re: E-target questions
On the test target that I was shooting on, the Red light was on the top of the target frame, and the green light was on the bottom. I couldn't see the green light after "ready on the left" because my gun and arm were in the way.

Re: E-target questions
Thanks for the replies.
Might get to shoot on one someday.
With the move from AZ to WI which I have taken a 5 month sabbatical and just started back to the work force today will have my hands full for awhile.
At least I have set up a 10 meter air pistol range in my garage which will keep me occupied on my time off for now.
I really enjoy shooting my Steyr LP1p

So do they blow a whistle to tell you to start firing or did you wait for others to start firing?Rob Kovach wrote:On the test target that I was shooting on, the Red light was on the top of the target frame, and the green light was on the bottom. Re: E-target questions
They had turning targets on the other firing points. When the other targets turned I knew what to do.
