Nelson .22 conversion is awesome!

Just wanted to share my excitement with you folks  Several months ago I got a Nelson kit with iron sights for my EIC pistol so that I can practice with .22 ammo but didn't really have a chance to shoot it until today.
First tried it with SK Standard Plus which I usually shoot, but it didn't cycle properly. Next I tried CCI SV and it cycled perfectly, never had a single jam or FTF! Shot six strings of TF and RF, first got few shots on white but after adjusting the sights I think I had two clean targets and a nice big hole cutting the X line, at about 8 o'clock!

using a lighter recoil spring will allow you to use the SK Standard Plus.  I have gone as low as 6lbs for the Aguila Subsonic that I like.

I get my springs from Marvel because I like the color coding system that they use.

Dial caliper works great for measuring springs. When you get the new spring record the wire diameter and you can always double check which weight spring you are using.
