How do you use your Pachmayr type gun cases
First topic message reminder :
Many of use a Pachmayr type gun cases. the Strong case version has been recently popular. Many have made there own.
We all use something to carry our guns and "stuff" to the range.
I am wondering how do you use your Pachmayr type case.
Do you mount the scope in the case. Do you find it takes up to much room.
Do you mount your pistol all from one side.
Do you carry targets in the box and where.
Do you carry and extra bag because you can not fit it all in the box.
Do you have a extra drawer
Do you have a 2,3 ,4 gun case
Does any one use a rolly case, case with wheels, because your's is just to heavy
What you you carry, yes guns, ammo, tools, what else.
What kind do you have.
I sure there are other ? but we can start here.
Thanks all
Mark

If you don't want to make quite such an investment right away, the medium sized Husky brand, rigid tool tote from Loews, holds everything and you can rig up a mount for your scope, to clamp on the handle. Craftsmen tool boxes work well also; I am using one of those as my fishing tackle box.

I shot my first matches with a range bag and a scope on a tripod. The box is certainly not a necessity. But is a HUGE convenience.

Looking at the gun boxes is almost as much fun as looking at the guns.

First of all thanks to Old Master65 for the Pachmayr on Ebay tip. I love it! Its perfect for my iron sight pistols as its a 4 gun. so there is room for the target grips.
Heres how I set my Strong box up for a match

That second box sure looks nice. But empty. I think you need to get a wheel gun in there too.
