Clark Barrel for Model 41
I switched from a Ruger Mark II to a model 41 this year, and my scores tanked! The 41 (5.5 inch barrel) seems too muzzle heavy and poorly balanced. I am looking to get a Clark barrel, as I have tried a 41 that has an STC barrel. The barrel seemed ok, perhaps a little light, but this one was threaded, so it was lighter than the a regular STC. I called Clark today for prices, and they seemed to recommend the STC for Bullseye. Most rings do not fit the rear slot on the top strap on the Bullseye Optic, so the top strap is not needed.
Does anyone have experience with the STC and/or Bullseye Optic and can offer some advice?
Also how are the Clark trigger jobs on the 41's. Again the person at Clark kind of indicated they might not be able to do too much with the trigger. Currently, my trigger seems heavier than other 41's I have tried, and it has the slightest amount of creep.
Thanks in advance.

I have been using one for a number of years now. Function and accuracy are outstanding with CCI SV. As an added perk, the finish on the polished flats is a perfect match for my pre-A model. I don't have any experience with Clark's work on individual guns but the barrel was worth the money.

KC Crawford (KC's Kustom Creations) does great work on 41 triggers. I highly recommend his work. He can let you know what is capable of being done to the trigger pull.

If you have a concern for the accuracy of your factory barrel it could also be relined

Aimpoint H-1 with factory weaver mount will fit in the rear slot of the bullseye model, but I find that the gun has better balance in the first slot above the chamber
