Model 41 Clark Barrel for Dot - BOP or STC
I'm pretty sure I'll go with the STC 6.5in, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything with the shorter version or the Bullseye optic version.
Thanks!

I have the 5.5", and really like it. I got the shorter version since I use a dot sight, and I have found I shoot more accurately with a shorter barrel. For me, the only potential advantage of a longer barrel in bullseye is for a longer sight radius with iron sights. Longer barrel allow more time for the shot to go off target. YMMV.

Is the additional weight of the extra inch of significant advantage for recoil?

Significant? I wouldn’t think so. If muzzle flip was an issue I think I would consider adding a barrel weight rather than barrel length. I have the long barrel on my Volquartsen Scorpion and would happily swap it for the shorter one.
