Attaching photos
I posted information on my Morini after making the new top rail looking for information on the Aimpoint 9000SC. I would have liked to add a photo but I keep getting message the photo is too large so I cropped it to make it smaller. Then the message said I don't have any more space. I checked my profile thinking that photos I added to other topic were in my file but when I looked it said my file is Empty. How do I add the photos for those that like to see them???

Re: Attaching photos
according to the FAQ;
Can I post Images?
Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed).

Re: Attaching photos
A month and a half ago I posted a question about a broken hammer pivot on a S&W revolver and linked to a picture located only in my computer (used the 'Insert Image' button as I recall).
It worked fine as far as I know (shows up on my computer) but perhaps I was not supposed to do that?
If it is somehow injurious to the site I would be happy to remove it or allow someone else to do so. Please let me know if I messed up!

ok, from your computer. press the icon for host an image. 1st one in the 5th section. then open your picture file and drag the picture where it says drop picture here. then press send all. then copy the middle choice and post that to your reply.

Re: Attaching photos
I've noticed that on my android phone, the Google Chrome browser works for posting photos while the others do not.
It works pretty much the same as it does on PC.

I realize that this is an old post, but can you clarify what that means: middle choice?
