The Clark built High Standards had the holes welded shut and surface ground and the blued. Not aware of any other method. You might be able to get tapered pin and flush fit to hole.

I left mine open. I ended up installing the iron sight bridge for .22 EIC. I'm glad I hadn't done anything more permanent.

Look for Len's HS in pictures. Those were done by a genius.

Those are solid pins not too tight fit, rounded ends. Red loctited in.

SW52, I posted the pictures and then went to sea for a couple of days so didn't have a chance till now to respond. The pistol used to be Jacks and the work done to it was done prior to my purchase. I suspect that the pins were fabricated by Roddy Toyota since he had a lot to do with the conversion. Just wanted to let you know that I wasn't ignoring your question.

I did those pins. They are just solid pins cut to fit and locktited in.
I actually had them in once, then removed them and put the bridge sight back on. Later took the sight off again and had Roddy drill the barrel for a Bomar sight rib. Then Len got it via a consignment sale at LGS, GunPro
