Found some Rooster Lube

On the back shelf, long forgotten Rooster lube.  It's not liquid any more.  It's pasty now. 
I never got into using it.  Is it any good to anyone still.  Or I'll just toss it. 
How do you toss a whole jug of lube.

Go to the Cast Bullets website and ask what the solvent is in it, as well as whether it melts with heat.

What is this product? Is it of value for lead handloads in bullseye?

This is a dip-type lube, also used in paper patching bullets.  I believe it has been discontinued, but several retailers show it to be in stock.

try adding a bit of water to the mix and see if that helps... folks used to thin it with plain cold water.

good stuff and if my memory is right, water soluble, I still have some too.
