H&N .32 bullets unobtainable; Lapua next best for .32swl?
Since H&N .32 wadcutters are now as rare as hen's teeth, what's the next best thing for someone who has a stock Pardini HP32 barrel and who isn't willing to cast/swage their own bullets? Anyone try the Lapua or Magtech wadcutters? If so, how were your results at 50 yards?
Is there any place to buy swaged bullets?

As far as reloading I have had my best results with Magnus 98gr LWC's. Dardus was second. I had terrible results with Lapua HBWC's and Spear. YMMV. Cibles Canada Target has two skids of H&N LWC's arriving sometime this next week. I ordered a case (8000) and didn't even ask how much. He said he had such a hard time with all the paperwork and regulations that he will not do it again. Get them while you can. His Tel# is 819-778-8857.

I have shot them with not so good results. Not to mention having to wait over six months for my order.Robert Palermo wrote:www.pennbullets.com offers a 100 gr. double bevel based wadcutter.

Sizing in the .32s is important and have had many with very good results with the bullets that have been sized to fit the barrels. .311 and .312 are popular.
.32 100 wcs are now an in stock item and can be sized to order in a few days.
Wait times during the panic periods was high but production has improved to meet current demands. No order is taking anywhere near that long to fill.

What gun are you shooting wad cutters sized to .311-.312? Revolver? In my Benelli and Walther anything under .314 shoots terrible.Robert Palermo wrote:Sizing in the .32s is important and have had many with very good results with the bullets that have been sized to fit the barrels. .311 and .312 are popular.

I don't have a .32. I have customers that have target .32s autos and this is what they have been ordering and getting good results.
I have also done .313 for some customers. I almost never get requests for .314. Did you actually slug the barrels on these guns for dimensions?

I have been buying Penn bullets for many years and have never experienced any shipping delays or quality problems, even when there was panic buying a few years back. Additionally, Robert Palermo, who probably has more years casting bullets than many of us have shooting bullseye, has always given me good advice when selecting bullets.

I came by my results through testing. I have tried Speer which were advertised as being .314 but couldn't find one over .312. I couldn't get one on paper @ 50 yards. Bought some Missouri .313 and results were a little better but nothing to want to take to a match. I have shot Dardus and Magnus .314 with good results. My last Magnus order took a long time but was told they had to recover from a flood. I was told my order from Penn took a while because of filling large orders from shooting teams. I am not picking at anyone, these are just my experiences. I have ordered Penn 200 LSWC in the past and received them quickly and were very accurate. By the same token I paid over $150 for 1000 Lapua HBWC's that were .314 and had terrible results. My results were the same in my Benelli MP95S and Walther GSP. YMMV.Robert Palermo wrote:I don't have a .32. I have customers that have target .32s autos and this is what they have been ordering and getting good results.

I just pulled some of the as cast bullets from the last run and they are coming out right at .314 -.3145. I would like to send you a no charge sample at .314 and would like you to test them with the bullets loaded so the sprue mark is to the nose to see if accuracy improves. Send me an e-mail thru the website.
