Yo Bryan,
If you are over near Augusta, checkout Pinetucky Gun Club. Very nice facilities.

Re: Southeast Shooters
If you want to have some trigger time close by each week, many of us who shoot bullseye at rbgc and SR, shoot the 22 league shoot on Tuesdays at 7pm, at Pannells firearms on hwy 5 in Woodstock. Its a lot of fun, basically a loose version of a bullseye style match, with gift certificates awarded each month. you can stop by and get a info sheet or just show up any Tuesday. All you need is a semi auto 22, 70 rounds of ammo and 8.00 range fee.

Re: Southeast Shooters
I just installed my red dot. I am going to try and get it sighted in before work tomorrow. If I do I get off early enough to make it.
I checked the site . I am disappointed they do not have full information about the league.

Re: Southeast Shooters
just come between 6pm and 6;45 and you can sight it in there, thats one of the perks, once you sign in you can go back and sight in or function test if you need too. here is how it works, they have 6 lanes, they shoot as many relays as needed so if you dont get there at 7 sharp, no big deal long as your there before the last relay starts, usually we have at least 3 sometimes more, each relay takes about 25 min. You get 6 targets, if shooting with a dot, all 6 are shot at 50 feet, we hang two targets on the hangers at a time, we shoot in 5 round strings, twice on each target, total of 60 shots, you score same as bullseye but you get to drop your lowest target. Then we shoot at playing cards everyone gets 5 cards, we hang them then shoot 2, 5 shot strings, 2 shots per card, at 20 feet. We do a 1.00 each pot if youre interested and top score of that night gets the pot, cards are scored by points, only a hit counts, 2 hits on a king, would be worth 20 points. face cards and ace are 10. everything else face value and we have 2 wild cards that change worth 15. The card scores are added at the end of the month and they give a gift cert. for the top score, same as for the targets, you must shoot 3 out of 4 on 4 week months and 4 out of 5 on 5 week months to be in the running for gift certif's. They have several classes, that all shoot together, but if your shooting open sights you can use both hands, dot shooters are one handed bullseye style, they also class shooters by score to give everyone a fair shot at winning a gift certif. they break into 3 groups between 400 up to 500 Top possible target score per week is 500, and like bullseye, X count breaks any ties, Hope that helps a little

As things get rolling this season some of us will trek to Asheville, NC and Orangeburg, SC for their 2700's. Both great ranges and usually good sized matches. Hope to see you at RBGS &/or Conyers.

I am going to be at conyers. I do not plan to shoot. I want to observe and have a chance to see what goes on without the distraction of shooting. I may shoot RBGC on the 18th.

Re: Southeast Shooters
Here is something you might want to attend, on april 21st, a Saturday at River bend gun club in dawsonville Georgia, the RBGC bullseye Range officers will host a bullseye clinic, the Army marksmanship unit out of fort benning will be there to teach and instruct, cost is 20.00 per entrant with a sandwich lunch furnished, time is 10am-4pm. This is a opportunity to get instruction from some of our country's best bullseye shooters. Our April bullseye 2700 will be the next day on sunday starting at 10am. Directions to the range are avalible at RBGC.com, I will add this to the calendar here soon and post the official clinic flyer.

I have had pretty good luck bore sighting red dots attached to bullseye pistols. Many times, especially with .22's the dots are right on or only require a couple of clicks of adjustment.
