Pardini SP Trigger Adjustments
I've had a new Pardini SP for about 6 months. I put a Aimpoint Micro on it and set out practicing expecting to break all current national records.....yeah right :-)
So initially I tried 2 stage. Couldn't feel the trigger, shots just broke. It was ugly. Couldn't tell whether I wanted to keep squeezing or abort the shot. Trigger was dead; it gave no feedback. So then I tried single stage. Still hated it. Spent 4-5 hrs messing with trigger and shot a few thousand rounds (rare for me) trying to make friends with it. So its been a safe queen for a few months. Last night I dry fired it and put it away. I woke up at 3 am and I knew what I needed to try. So I got up at 6 am and redid the trigger. Glory hallelujah! I figured it out and got exactly what I was looking for. It now matchs my 208s and I'm in love with it now.
To each their own; so in other words I'm not going to say what I did. But be persistent in chasing the perfect trigger adjustments for you! You can do it.

Re: Pardini SP Trigger Adjustments
Jon,
I did the same thing with my Pardini and it is much nicer to shoot, but I still shoot more "X's" with the Hammerli 208s.
To me the Pardini feels "too long" what do you think?

Re: Pardini SP Trigger Adjustments
They are just so different. I have to start shooting Pardini again and see difference. Hammerli floats around a bit because its lighter. I need my shoulder fixed so I can't give an honest response until I have a hold again. I have stellar moments here and there and really love the Hammerli. The Pardini will really have its work cutout to sway me on my Hammerli.

Re: Pardini SP Trigger Adjustments
Been shooting one for a month.. spent 2 hours the first night adjusting the trigger. Two week later, shot my first clean indoor 50' slow fire target...
