200 5x Timed Fire
I hate people who do this BUT since I never thought it would happen...shot 200 in timed fire today in NRA league. I'm still shaking:-). Used to shoot BE 45 years ago and picked it back up in September. I told my wife and she said"is that any good" :-(. Had to tell somebody that would know!

I have my share of 100 T&R, but only one time have I put two together for 200 TF. That was just last year in gallery league at age 61. Now that I got that out of the way I can work on 900/900 Hardball.

Both of you guys good shootin'! I just turned 40 a couple weeks ago so it would appear that I have quite a few more years of good shooting left in me and I look forward to using them all!!! Again congratulations you deserve it!
And don't wives have a way of deflating your balloon? I came home after an outdoor match last year and was excited about shooting 880 with the .22 for the first time and stupidly I told the wife and she said but doesn't that mean you missed the target 20 times? They have no idea. But that is what we are hear for!

Scott, if I lived to be 100(which is how old my dad is) I could never shoot anywhere near your scores! I have refallen in love with this sport and am lucky that a fellow"senior citizen" friend equally enjoys the sport as we shoot almost daily. This is a great place to learn. Hopefully by end of league will have expert classification.

Great shooting, my most prized tatgets was ones i shot in the 2004 TN State match, 2700, 22 rapid fire, 200 score with a 10x and a 6x , this was at my peak before a injury put me out of shooting for 6 years, now back i hope to get my mojo flowing back to this level soon.

Great shooting fellas! It's amazing how hard it is to shoot that second 100 after the first!

Gray,
My mailing address is Sunset, TX. I am actually closer to Bowie, TX. We are an hour and a half drive north of Ft. Worth, TX. We literally live in a hilly area covered with oak trees. Neighbors are at least 5 acres away. Cellphones do not work. We have an intersection that all the neighbors nicknamed the "phone booth" where you will often see neighbors and contractors parked using their cellphones. Everyone is welcome at anytime. We have lots of deer, bobcat, coyote, raccoons, armadillos, fish, and tons of birds including wild turkey. We have several western diamondback rattlesnakes and lots of copperheads. I spend quite a bit of time photographing all the critters.

Hilsman,
It is great that you have a friend to shoot with and you will be surprised at how your scores will improve if you continue to work at it. I started shooting an indoor league this year and our team captain and his friend has been riding together to this league for 47 years! So keep it up. Scott

JLK,
No. I just began bullseye shooting last fall. I only had a 22 until a couple of weeks ago. I have only competed at the Oklahoma City Gun Club in Edmond, the gun club at Davis, OK and one match late in the year at the Dallas Pistol Club. All of them were kind enough to allow me to shoot the entire match with just my 22. I have just received all the supplies I need to begin my reloading. I have to make time to set up a reloading bench and load some test loads. My friends in OK will assist me with testing my loads. Once we find one that groups the best I will load and practice with the 45.
Is the Wichita Falls club an outside range? Are they open to new members? Any info you care to share?
The travel time for me to Edmund is 3 hours and 15 minutes, Davis is 2+10, and the Dallas Pistol Club is 1+30. Time is a problem for me as it is to most people. I am quite busy with a one man photography business which has me traveling around the country or spending hours behind a computer. My primary shooting interest is with Air Pistol and Free Pistol with the international shooting folks. 95% of my practice time is with those pistols.
Come see us in the woods.
