Clark 6" 45 ACP 1911 barrel opinions compared to todays Kart, Bar-Sto, KKM
Building a BE 1911 and a member here kindly offered me a new Clark 4140 6" match barrel at really good price. Says it oversized at the 5" so I could cut it down and still fit bushing in 5" slide. Does anyone know if these barrels were made for Clark or they made them from blanks? He doesn't know the twist rate so not sure there. Just not sure if I should risk time to fit this one or just buy a KKM (Kart and Bar-sto don't seam to be in stock). How would this barrel compare to todays Match barrels?
