extractor/ejector ?? Empty extractor/ejector ??

Post by Paper-Puncher Sat Mar 24, 2012 10:46 pm

Cleaning the 1911 tonight I notice that it would appear the spent case's are hitting the bottom of my Ultra dot. I'm useing the clark rail and the ultra dot rings. Can I tune the extractor and or the ejector to stop this ? Or is this pretty much normal..?

Man if it isn't malfunctioning in any way, I would not mess with either.
Just my $0.02.

I think its pretty typical. My Range Officer is with Roddy Toyota now for some work- including a rail & Ultradot. Part of Roddy's installation is a sheet metal deflector he makes that prevents brass from dinging the dot.
