gunbox - MAGAZINE HOLDER FOR GUNBOX Empty MAGAZINE HOLDER FOR GUNBOX

Well...good news guys. Thanks to JOHN DERVIS a shooter from this forum who contacted me and sent me an extra magazine holder for our gun boxes.

I contacted my best friend who happens to be a mechanical engineer, and sent him pictures and he said " That looks like a piece of cake".

Here is the link to the recent conversation.

THE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION IS...How many should I ask him to make? Who want these and how many?

I will be posting this in the commercial area too to get an accurate count.

Looking forward to hearing from all of you...

I am interested. One thing to keep in mind is the advent of these 22 conversions. The holder now needs to have room for four 45 sized magazines ?

Actually, John mentioned that to me. I am going to have my friend take that into consideration.

Thanks

Wouldn't something like this be easy to make out of that plastic stuff they use for holsters.

I'm going to find out.. I do have one of the old originals to go by.

Kydex is easy to work with as you just need a mold or form and then heat the piece with a heat gun or oven then place it over the mold and press it down with a rubber vice to form the image..Tons of how to on the web.

it can also be glued together with some rather special glue.

I'll take pictures when I get to it..hopefully this week but I am building new EIC pistol..

Post by askernie 10/12/2017, 11:00 am

First, let me apologize getting back to all the people on this forum that have been interested in the magazine holder reproduction.

I was going to sell them on this forum but because of my current work schedule, I just wouldn't have time.

I have provided the contact information for my friend the mechanical engineer to the following distributers:

championschoice.com
bullseyegear.com
precisionpistolbox.com

Please which ever company you like for availability and prices.

THANKS AGAIN TO JOHN DERVIS, A SHOOTER ON THIS FORUM FOR PROVIDING THE ORIGINAL MAGAZINE HOLDER.

If you have any additional questions regarding this magazine holder, please feel free to contact me at 813-598-2902

Thanks to all,

Ernie "The Eyeball" Fuentes
