Most old Clarks I've seen with Douglass barrels run between .355-.356 and S&W MTU barrels are .355. They shoot excellent. HBWC bullets are forgiving. I've had good results with .356 solids in my pistol.

More often than not the triple KS require work to function.

Old colts are worth it if you can find them for the right price.

I have two of the old S&W MTU barrels waiting for me to start on a spl...Jon is ahead of me

There's been some mention of KKM barrels here and I'd like to throw my two cents in. I just built a 9 with a KKM of 32 twist. Today I shot some Dardas 122 grain bullets to see how they'd do. They shot as good as the 125 grain jacketed zero hollow points I had loaded and shot first and no leading on the barrel.
