Shot my first 1800 match at the South Texas Marksmanship Training Center in San Antonio yesterday, ended up shooting a 1472-20 which i'm happy with. I shot my ruger mark 3 with volquartsen accurizing kit, which i put in after taking the advice from this forum. My centerfire/45 gun is a springfield range officer worked on by Dave Salyer, which i absolutely love. Both guns were iron sights only, haven't invested in a red dot yet but that may be on the horizon. The guys i shot with were great, really friendly and had a lot of knowledge. Really great experience all together, i'm really excited to pursue this. I've shot IDPA and USPSA casually for a couple years but this is by far the most enjoyable pistol shooting i've ever done. Looking forward to the next one!

25 yard reduced slow fire, all in the black.

All in the black in your first match is phenomenal.

Very nice for your first match! I have fond memories of shooting bullseye at Ft. Sam and Camp Bullis. I always felt very welcome at the matches and made a lot of friends. Keep at it.
