general advice
I got my IZH-46m sold...And wish to continue with up-grades to my RO....First I would like to get a ultra dot....Bullseye gear has the for 139.00 in the 1'' single dot version ......Is this a good price? Also I am consideraing a set of Herrit NAtional match stocks for the .45 as well.....I have 2 sets of these stocks on my mkIII's and like them but thought I'd ask here as far as putting the on the .45......now that Ive been shooting it more with the bullseye powder a 3.8 grains 200lswc the 3.9 grains of clays doesnt feel as stout as it did when I started the .45 adventure.......still cant get the hang of the timed and rapid yet...but my slow fire is comeing along and did manage to score 87-2x @ 25yds on the short course slow fire target....

$139 sounds like a good price. Larry Carter gets $149 but that may include shipping. Either way sounds fair.

no you pay shipping at Larrys. The 139.00 is a excellent price and Bullseye gear has a flat 5.00 shipping fee too.

figured it was a good price...I have a millet on the .45 now ....but I'm haveing some trouble trusting it....not quite sure if its holding zero, so I'm gonna get a ultra 1'' and put the millet on my other MKIII and see what happens....

How do you plan to mount the Ultradot on the 1911, slide or frame?

I have them on my primary 45 and like them as they seem to fill out better in my hand and give a better feeling grip on the gun. The downside is if you have a ball gun and will be working toward distinguished they make the grip different and it might be a little more of a transition between the guns. Also the fairly smoother wood surface can be a bit slick in the summer with 45 recoil so I adhered a layer of a grit material to them in a fairly simple process I can describe if you are interested.
Another one of those personal preference things.
