I ordered a Nelson Conversion Today
I opted for the conversion with the standard weaver rail, no threaded barrel.
Now I suppose I have to wait my 2-3 months for it to arrive. No big deal.
My gunsmith is still building the 2011 frame for this conversion to reside on.
I am wondering if anyone here knows whether Nelson will customize the Weaver
rail by dovetailing front and rear sights into it, preferably a Bomar-style rear. I would be willing to pay a premium
for that added feature. Has anyone Had Larry and Kevin produce a weaver real
with sights?

Spoke with Larry today. No go on the custom top rail. They are too backlogged already to further delay orders by doing custom work like that. I totally understand. I can have my trusty gunsmith/machinist do it locally if I decide I just have to have it.

Since all of these Marvels and Marvel clones are so similar, maybe a Marvel Combo Rail will fit??

My Marvel rib won't fit on Nelson without machining.

This is a Marvel Precision rail on a Nelson.
All it takes is one new hole in the rail and file round the back corner to fit the slide. And remove the pin.
I have also done the same with a scope rail to swap steel for aluminum.

If I am not mistaken, the Marvel combo rail uses tip-off grooves. I want weaver/picatinny.
