NG Baby Spotting Scope for gun box

I picked up a Strong Box at Perry and I have an NG-20 spotting scope, little bugger, that I want to use in the box. The threaded knob that came with the box is too small a thread size, anyone know where I might be able to obtain the right sized one?

Go to mcmaster.com and search threaded knob, if they don't have it you've got problems.

Search ng on eBay. They make an adapter that screws into the ng scope so that it'll fit on a standard spotting scope bolt.

You are probably looking for a 3/8"-16 Thread to 1/4"-20 Screw reducing bushing or adapter.

When you find one, either online (fleabay) or at a camera store or Best Buy, you may want to use blue Loctite or low temp thread locker to keep it in place.

Just a heads up some of those thread adapters are better than others, look for the ones that are longer as the short ones can snap.  I have had that happen in a past life as a photographer.
