126 Dardas SWC size for .38 Super
Need info on 126 Dardas SWC (for .38 super).
I apologize in advance I asked this before but didn't put the answer in my loading notes and now I can't find the post either.
Dardas gives you option to order the 126 SWC in .356, .357 or .358 diameters. Which do you use? I'd assume .356 or .357.
I do have in my notes 3.5-3.6 of BE and a length of .987 What about crimp?

Yep - I finally got my 9mm off to KC to have a .38 Super barrel fit (Clark 1-10 twist).

Easy... Ask KC what size the Clark barrel is.. then order a bullet .001 larger...
"most" aftermarket supers are .355... We run .356 Dardus in our Kart and KKM

Make sure you come back and tell us how well you get the Dardas bullets to shoot out of your 1:10 twist. Jimmy & crew uses 1:16 twists in the low 700fps to get sub 2" groups, it will be interesting to see what you get. I'm going to get my Sig 38 rebarreled and get a rail installed for a dot in the next few months, I plan on trying to use the lighter bullets, the goal is reduced recoil after all.

KKM recently tested 1:10 twist and it wouldn't shoot/group over 750ish fps. They're sticking to 1:16 twist. I'll be building one soon in .38 Super.

If I had to order, it would be 0.357".
I much prefer to order as-cast and lube myself without any sizing.

You can also just e mail or call Matt Dardas to talk it over. He'd be happy to help and you can find contact info on his web site.
