Problem with Bushnell Spacemaster
I just acquired one of these little 50mm spotting scopes and am unable to get it to focus at any distance. Is there a trick to fastening the eyepiece on these? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Problem with Bushnell Spacemaster
Is the front objective loose?
New or used scope?
Does the rear eyepiece have a range that it screws in and out from or does it just spin?
Measure scope length in the two eyepiece extrenes; it should be about an inch different
Was it dropped? biggest cause of scope death out there but is fixable

It was actually used but the EBay seller claimed it was new. It's on the way home to him now. I'm looking for a smallish 50mm scope to fit in my box however.

Did you telescope out the front objective? The front 50 mm objective collapses back in on itself for storage and transport and needs to be extended out prior to use. I have one of these small scopes and it is a decent scope for those times you need a easy lightweight portable bench scope. Wouldnt recommend it for bullseye but I like the angled eye piece (which the spacemaster has) and the rotating mounting point (which it does not) for my bullseye box scope.
