Has got me thinking,if it works so well at the low velocities out of a fairly long barrel then why not use this style of lead in a 45 ? Its probably only a hundred feet or so per second difference ?   bounce bounce

Because the stubby little .45 needs a little nose to feed properly.

But they do work well in the Model 25.

I cast .45 caliber wadcutters, but they get shot in my Model 25 .45 Colt, not my .45 ACP Gold Cup.
