For revolvers GP100 and 14-3:
Thinking of trying the 148g Button nose 38 heads. the ones with multiple lube grooves & crimp groove. - Any opinions on load, accuracy, - advice?

if you are referring to the H&G 50 mold design it's an excellent bullet for the 38.. very good accuracy..

I've used both 2.8 BE and 2.8 WST with excellent results in 1911 38's.

They've been known to shoot better with only filling one lube groove instead of all .

Personally, I fill the top and bottom lube grooves. I leave the center groove empty. One tube of lube goes a long way.

I usually use 2.9-3.1 grains of Bulleye but I had some Unique and they worked really well with 4.1 grains of that in my model 27.
