Yes, Japanese character stamped onto frame,.....right side just above the trigger.

I finally remembered to look at my Norinco Masaki wad gun, there are no markings of any kind inside or out.

I also have a full build on a Caspian frame and slide from Ed and there are no markings of any kind on mine either.

He did a wadcutter gun for me in the late 1990's. no special mark.

last three digits of serial number ep'd on some parts and inside slide but lots of builders prob do that too.

Pretty cool.  Looks like he put the two characters for 'Masaki' (正木) on top of each other.
